GET HELP

It is not unusual for many people to experience financial difficulties at some point in their life but the earlier they tackle the problem, the easier the solution.

Taff Ely CMA is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are also affiliated with Community Money Advice which is a national Charity supporting over 150 advice centres across the country.

However bad the situation, there are always steps that can be taken to improve things, so don’t leave it too late – come for advice now.

CONFIDENTIALITY
Anything you say to a member of our team members will be treated as and held confidential within the team. Occasionally the person helping you may need to consult with a colleague or manager in order to provide the best possible advice or to prevent a clear and immediate danger to someone (There are certain circumstances in which we have a duty of care to take further action).

IF YOU'RE NERVOUS ABOUT ASKING FOR ADVICE...

Don't worry we're friendly

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
Here are some of the things we can do for you :

  • Stopping bailiff action before they are due to arrive
  • Negotiating with creditors on behalf of clients
  • Agreeing breathing spaces for clients (usually with freezing of interest and charges) while we work with the client to put together a realistic solution
  • Stopping creditor hassle – once clients come to us, they can direct creditors to deal with us instead
  • Stopping constant text and phone calls from creditors
  • Negotiating affordable payments for a Magistrate’s Court fine
  • Supporting clients in negotiating Council Tax arrears
  • Helping clients construct affordable household budgets

IT’S TOTALLY FREE

  • We won’t charge you. Ever.
  • If you eventually decide on an insolvency option such as a Debt Relief Order (DRO) or bankruptcy, there are insolvency fees that we can’t get around, but we will never charge you for our help.

WHO DO WE HELP?
Our service is offered to all regardless of background, circumstances or belief.

WHAT GEOGRAPHIC AREAS DO WE COVER?
We assist people who live in Rhondda Cynon Taff and surrounding area.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • to be totally honest with us about your financial circumstances
  • to act on the agreed advice given
  • to make us aware of any changes in your circumstances.
